Wasteland = Death
A far away land from the end point of Heaven... a cosmic catastrophe in ancient times.
Millions of years ago the IMO’s arrived from deep space. An interconnected colony of intelligent microbes IMOs inhabit any host in order to survive. When IMOs arrived on a planet with humanoid inhabitants it mutated as it took over a body with an intelligent mind.
Like vampires, IMOs spread through injecting itself into flesh and blood. Most of its victims were ravaged and died off. But those that did not die became stronger, and evolved to become super-human organisms with hyper-normal abilities.

These beings took on god-like status among other humanoids... and using the evolved mental abilities, and humanoid body IMOs sought to become like gods among the populations they inhabited.
Even performing resurrection of the dead by injecting a lifeless body with IMO's that rapidly multiplied to the point that the dead would appear to come alive. This was seen by the humanoids as the power of a god.
On each of the planets infested by the IMOs, the populations eventually died off, forcing them to move to a new world to inhabit. The IMO gods moved through space for millions of years finally arriving on the planet Mars. There, lived Giant humanoids that were at once infested by the IMOs and they mutated even more… with great strength and driving hungers because they also acquired the very nature of the beings they converted.

Over many thousands of years the planet Mars becomes engulfed in war, as mutating variations of IMOgods began to compete for dominance. Eventually, the dyeing plant forced the IMO gods to once again search for a new world to conquer... that is when earth first experienced the arrival of the what ancient writings called "sons of god."

Heavinol?
The original version of Heavinol was designed to cure victims of Ollod's Disease (caused by alien IMO). The unexpected side effect was that the minds of users became more cognitive and lucid. Some people were even able to regain control of their minds! But, Heavinol did not work on 90% on the human population. Criminals in Pelican Bay Prison were some of the first to be experimented on. Heavinol-EX/SDRX
SDRX(Secure Digital Prescription) is a micro sd card that has Heavinol in it. The tech of the SD card is what alerts The Hueman International Corp to who is using and how often. The SD cards have lot numbers, and are read by the IED (Individual Eternity Device). While its not illegal to have black market Heavinol some people have had visits from Men in Black letting them know its not wise to use. If a hacked card is inserted into the IED, Hueman is notified.
Once an IED is alerted Memory Law Agents are dispatched.
